Returning to Baccano, one of the most elegant restaurants in the heart of Rome, always feels like coming home. This recent visit was no exception. The warm welcome, familiar smiles, and incredible atmosphere made it more than just a filming day โ it was an experience.
This time, we had the pleasure of shooting two special videos that truly reflect the soul of the place. In the kitchen, I teamed up with their talented Head Chef Nabil Hadj Hassen to prepare a creamy Italian classic: pasta with anchovies and butter. A seemingly simple dish, very Italian, it became a rich, flavorful tribute to tradition with his personal touch.
In our second video, I was joined by the ever-charismatic manager Daniele Vespa. Together, we opened a bottle of Ferrari Perlรฉ, a refined sparkling wine that perfectly complemented the restaurantโs signature seafood soup. It wasnโt just a pairing; it was a celebration of taste, texture, and perfect service. You can watch the video here.
Baccano is more than a restaurant โ itโs a stage where passion, technique, and hospitality take center stage. Every time I return, Iโm reminded why itโs one of my favorite places to film. The service is exceptional, the food always speaks for itself, and the people behind the scenes make it all come alive.
Tucked between the Trevi Fountain and Piazza Venezia, Baccano is a true gem for those seeking elevated Roman dining. If youโre in Rome and want to feel the cityโs elegance on a plate, this is where you go.
Watch the videos below to step into this special day with us โ from the kitchenโs fire to the sparkle of Ferrari Perlรฉ โ and see why Baccano is always worth coming back to.
