Malta has always been more than just a destination. For me, it became a place filled with memories, conversations, flavours, friendships, and moments that stayed long after the camera was turned off. That feeling inspired my new book, “50 Places I Love – Malta” — a very personal and unique project created in partnership with VisitMalta and Cleland & Souchet.
This is my second book, but in many ways, it feels like the beginning of a new chapter. The idea was simple: create the first collection of its kind that brings together 50 places across Malta and Gozo that truly represent the beauty, taste, atmosphere, and spirit of our islands. Most of the locations featured are restaurants, alongside a few exceptional wineries that reflect the growing standard and identity of Malta’s hospitality scene.
But this book is not only about food. It is about people.
Behind every restaurant, every glass of wine, every view, and every experience, there are talented individuals working with passion every single day. “50 Places I Love” gathers many of those stories together in one carefully curated collection. It is my way of showing appreciation to the people and places that continue to shape Malta and Gozo into something unforgettable.
The book also includes a special additional chapter where I personally mention several well-known individuals who, in my opinion, contribute positively to making our islands a better place through culture, hospitality, business, creativity, and everyday dedication.
I am incredibly grateful to everyone who became part of this journey. Now, with the book officially released, I am excited to begin touring around Malta and Gozo, visiting the featured places, meeting people, and sharing this story with others.
See you around the islands.
